Clearance sales, bargain fun, fab freebies

Hello,

How are you doing this week? Greetings from the land of The Hosepipe Ban, and a slightly sad-looking kitchen garden. But fear not, we're working on better water conservation, and planning a fun weekend.

Yes, that's right, we're going to have some FUN. It's Weekend Two of the 'NOT on Holiday' thrifty summer challenge, and the theme is 'go sightseeing'. So free - or at least thrifty - days out.

Scroll down for that - it's packed with ideas and a few ways to get free or cheap entry to events and attractions. Followed by all kinds of sales, offers, freebies and assorted other gubbins that's caught my eye.

This week's newsletter has been brought to you by the power of lemonade lollies scoffed in the shade of a tree.
